UPDATE: Good Morning, friends! Lots to report from Panama Andy's!
Thanks to many generous donations, we are busy making numerous improvements to the property, including building new kennels, replacing the old refrigerator and making much needed repairs to the house and yard.
Sheila Robbins has been spearheading much of this tireless work, and for that we are all extremely grateful. Patricia Salas, as always, is managing the property, maximizing every resource for the betterment of the dogs. She is truly their guardian angel. Elaine spends every day at the property, taking care of the feeding, bathing, walks, medication and, just as important, giving them the love and attention they need. She spends extra time with Apollo, who still needs to be segregated from the others while he recovers from his illness.
They had a fun Easter together too, as you can see from the pictures! One amazing thing we discovered recently. Some of the dogs had been escaping and we were having trouble figuring out how they were doing it, until we noticed Andy climbing a tree near the fence. Apparently, they figured out how to climb high enough to jump over an 6 foot high fence!
We at Panama Andy's would like to extend our warmest thanks to the many new patrons who have, over the past few weeks, donated time, money and goods to the property. These donations have made an enormous difference in the lives of these sweet animals.
However, we have only just begun and there is much more to accomplish! If you have yet to donate, please consider a small donation. No amount is too small, as every penny goes toward the care of these animals.
Donations of time, in-person cash donations, or goods can go through either Sheila Robbins or Patricia Salas, while online cash donations can go through the paypal account at thomasfatone@gmail.com or through the GoFundMe here:
